Texas is considered to be one of the most conservative states in the US when it comes to new ideas and concepts. Gambling both at land based casinos and online casinos is far from a new concept for many but in Texas there is still no approval for gambling in any form within the state. But, 2013 seems to be the year of change and there is great hope and optimism that this will be the year that the law will chance in Texas. Top legislators have been brought in to work on new Bills that will be presented to the senate in order to allow gambling in the state. Amongst the major points being discussed is the tax revenue that the state can profit from with gambling that can be used in other areas of ministry such as education and health. At least two thirds of the local government need to approve the bill for it to be passed and many believe that this will happen in the next couple of months.
