The Stars Come Out For Casino Promo

The legendary movie director Martin Scorsese well known for directing such Hollywood classics as Raging Bull, Casino, Goodfellas and The Wolf of Wall Street has agreed to work with Ratpac Entertainment, which is the production company partly owned by James Packer. Packer also owns Crown Resorts, one of the worlds largest gaming companies and Scorsese, Ratpac and a heap of A list movie stars are getting together to create a short film promoting the Crown owned Melco Crown Studio City Resort in Macau.

With arguably the worlds greatest director leading the project you'd expect some big name actors to be appearing in the film, and you'd be correct, as Brad Pitt, Robert De Niro and Leonardo DiCaprio are all getting involved. This will be the first time that those four huge Hollywood names have all worked together, making this promotional film something rather special indeed, and adding to the wow factor is the fact that the script is to be written by Terence Winter, writer of the Scorsese and DiCaprio movie The Wolf of Wall Street. DiCaprio has worked with Scorsese on many films including Shutter Island, The Departed and The Aviator, while De Niro has of course appeared in Scorsese classics such as Taxi Driver and Raging Bull, among others. When you thrown a certain Mr Brad Pitt into that fine mix of A listers you're left with a pretty complete package and the makings of a memorable short casino promotional film.

The Studio City Resort in Macau is a Hollywood themed site and is due to open in 2015. There's been many a dispute between investors in the $2 Billion project however all that's in the past and things are now moving along smoothly. Ratpac Entertainment itself is no stranger to the big time after having put money into both Gravity and the Lego Movie, as well as working with Brad Pitt's Plan B Entertainment company.
