The Hive Slots

2024 looks like being another major year for the popular software developer Betsoft. They're ready to entertain you with another new slot game release called The Hive.

While it sounds like it could be a futuristic slice of drama involving spies or something similar, it's a lot more down to earth than that - and good for the summer too. The hive we're talking about is related to a beehive - evidenced by the appearance of a couple of happy-looking bees working hard in the main image for the game.

Basic game features to look out for

This game has 30 lines to play on. The format isn't quite what you might expect though, as the game presents you with a honeycomb design… well, of course! Looking at it in row format, you see three symbols on the top and bottom rows, four on the second and fourth rows, and five running along the middle.

You can wager as little as 10 cents on each spin, which covers all the potential ways you could collect prizes.

Three bees to watch out for

We're told that every spin might see a bee spawning and getting busy in the hive. There is the Queen Bee, who encourages other bees to appear for an increased chance of winning prizes.

Meanwhile, the Drone Bee will make sure the Honey Meter goes up. When this reaches the top, you get some free spins to play. Finding lots of Drone Bees means you will get to this feature more quickly.

Finally, there are Worker Bees. These give you stacking multipliers that could help you secure bigger prizes.

Other features also come into play

The best of these is the Honey Burst Spreading Wild - only seen during the free games. These spread from their original position to make other cells wild too.
